Larry D. Stern
is the author of “Finding Your Sales Bones," "Guide to Global Mergers and Acquisitions," and "The
Lean CEO". He has held executive leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies and has operated his own consulting firm
since 1997. Dr. Stern conducts seminars and consulting services in Marketing and Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions, International
Ethics and Critical Thinking. He holds an M.B.A./PhD. from California Western University and attended post graduate studies
at Wharton School of Business. He is currently the chair of ASQ Denver and heads the Rocky Mountain Quality Conference.

VANZANT-STERN, is the author of Lean Six Sigma: Practical Bodies of Knowledge and Vice Chair of ASQ Denver and Membership
Chair ASQ HD&L Division. She has published two other textbooks: HR Concepts for Project Managers and The Top Ten
Challenges for Six Sigma Organizations. She has also published several articles for SHRM and ASTD. Her experience includes
public sector, healthcare, lean manufacturing, as well as international business. Dr.. Vanzant-Stern was awarded the 1995
Educator of the Year Award for Colorado and has attained a number of other honors. Dr. Vanzant-Stern has held board positions
for Colorado Human Resource Association and is currently the Chair for the American Society of Quality - Denver.
Dr. Vanzant-Stern serves on the Education Committee of the Colorado Ethics and Business Alliance. She is also the chair
of the Rocky Mountain Quality Conference.
Dr. Stern has
also been named Facilitator of the Year - 2009, by the Lean Six Sigma Professional's Association. For Details on the award
